Vercel
Vercel as the place the front-end grows up.
Next.js hosting, preview URLs, environment hygiene and edge-aware rendering — the way this website ships.
Vercel is more than a host. It is a workflow: every branch a URL, every env a named thing, logs you can actually read. We set that workflow up so deploys stop being a personality test.
It is our default for Next.js. We will not force it on a WordPress site that does not belong there.
Benefits
What this changes in the business.
01
Stakeholders click branches
Feedback attaches to a URL. ‘It works on my machine’ becomes a joke you no longer need.
02
Rendering chosen per route
Static where we can, dynamic where we must. Vercel makes that distinction real.
03
Rollbacks that are not folklore
A previous production deploy is a click, not an archaeology project.
Process
How the work moves.
01
Connect git properly
Production branch, preview branches, who may promote. Access is a product decision.
02
Name every secret
No shared .env in a chat. Preview versus production keys are different on purpose.
03
Tune caching
ISR, tags, headers. Speed is a configuration, not a miracle.
04
Rehearse DNS
We flip domains with a written order of operations.
Technology
Tools we actually ship with.
- Vercel
- Next.js
- GitHub
- Edge config where useful
- Web analytics optional
Questions
Straight answers.
For most marketing and product fronts, the bill is reasonable. We will flag patterns (heavy SSR, huge images) that would make it less so.

If every release still needs a developer on a call, let’s put the site on a grown-up Vercel workflow.
